Broken DIS module...what could have cause it??

ok i was driving home to day and my sho quit....so i poped the hood and seen that that the rear connector of the DIS module was broken and the connector sperated from the DIS...what could have cause it to break...oh and the rear connector touches the upper part of the motor mount on the shock tower....oh and bye the way I'm SHOman247 but i won't let me use it...so i just got her a week ago...also should i take her to a dealer for the sfb recall?

Maybe some bad motor mounts?
that or Subframe Bushings are the only things that would cause it. And since you said it hits the support, it could be either.

Bet on the subframe bushings. I've had bad motor mounts for quite some time, but until I got the tranny replaced and the subframe bushings fell out in pieces, I never had that problem. So I yanked the torque limiter and bracket off till I got new bushings.

Havng JUST broken mine while replacing a rack, it appers that as little as a 3/4" drop will cause that rear DIS section to hit the TQ limiter mounting thingy.
