Whats up guys! I recently bought myself a 94 mtx off a gentlemen out here in Southern California. I’m only 24 but I’ve always had an obesseion for these cars! I have no skills mechanically whatsoever. So please point me in the right direction for a techinichian near my area. I’ll post a couple pictures soon. The cars name is Brutiss by the way!

Welcome! If you wanna keep some money in your pockets look in the mirror. That's your tech. Knobody really knows these cars due to age and rarity even when new. The gen1/2 page has a wealth of good info and how to's. My 90 I had back in 02 taught me the ways. I went from 2 oil changes in my life to doing a full 60k. My 91s are keeping me busy as well. It's well worth it to learn a few skills, and there's a lot of experts on here who can help you along the way. Not sure about SoCal, but one of the best SHO mechanics is just up the road in San Jose.

Welcome! Post some pics. Nick Chrimes is north of you, but you will find it is not that difficult to work on these cars. This forum and a lot of sites show you how to keep your car running.

Looks nice, I can see car already has some mods done to it. Did the previous owner already do some of the major maintenance? I think your car might be a 93 based on the color of the door handles and chrome trim around the windows.

He did do some mods but i dont remeber about major maintenance? From what i remeber him telling me is has lowered suspension, jose short shifter, steel brake lines (Florida car), an intake, and a Y exhaust. I could be wrong on the exhaust. Im gonna give him a call and ask about the maintenance. I love the car it runs great and its sound amazing!

Sounds like aftermarket y-pipe. I doubt the rod bearings were replaced and I would consider it around 150k miles. That's just a ballpark mileage but something to think about on these cars. Especially if they get driven hard. The ATX cars seem to be less harsh on them with the mushy tranny

Nice, looks like you have front strut tower brace as well and hood strut relocation brackets. If it sounds good, you probably have an aftermarket exhaust as well
