Hi,
My '93 SHO 5 speed seems be developing a brake drag problem. After 15 miles on the highway the rear wheels[both] are hot. The fronts are just a little warm. Should I be looking closely at the emergency brake cable/cable adjustment?

If all else fails, the rear brake hoses may be collapsing. $100 for both from Ford, or $20 a piece at Consumer Auto Parts. Other parts stores don't stock them, but can order them.

If you're going to order brake hoses, you may as well pony up the funds for the stainless braided ones from Earl's or Russell (Jeg's / Summit Racing). Less than Ford for all 4 corners, and it's a performance mod - ROCK HARD BRAKE PEDAL BABY!
