Hi,

I had my car in the shop this morning to have a new set of brake rotors (AutoZone) and PFC brake pads installed, along with a Mobil-1 oil change. I haven't driven the car enough yet to give a verdict on the brakes, they felt a bit mushy on the way home, but they probably just need to get broken in a little.

The shop manager said the mechanic found evidence of a leak on the right rear caliper, and if it gets any worse he suggests getting it replaced. My extended warranty will cover the repair :hail: but I'm wondering if anyone else here has had to replace a brake caliper on a gen3 SHO, and how many miles you hit before they needed to be replaced? I'm only at 55k miles (second or third owner I think), it seems awfully soon for such a repair.

Thanks!

Ben

I'm on my originals at 110k. But then I usually take them apart every year and clean them up good. Pins in the back are a constant problem.
