Someone would be there now if they were Torrie Tuned & running 100% Methanol.

Oh yea, and before I forget about this one.....

I AM running 100% Methanol.

Additionally, I know of NO vendor, LMS, Unleashed, or any others out there (at least currently) that are running such an aggressive calibration as to obtain 11's out of any SHO.

If there is, and you seem to think there is EBB..... well then pal, let's hear about it. (albeit in another thread please).

Cuz i'll tell you what, I'm sure I'm not the only one that noticed you're errant comment, and nor would I be the only one who would be interested in hearing about it my friend.

#2. It was asked when you or someone else (post # 16) was going to get into the 11's. Since this speculation is all the rage elsewhere... I made my flippant comment. :omgsho:OBVIOUSLY.. I know you are running 100% methanol, as are quite a few of the other Livernois devotees.:dribble: Frankly, I think the mods you have done have been as well planned as anyone else, and will definitely give you the most dyno HP crown, especially with the recent one being posted about in this thread. Torrie found that when I did NESHO's mid-cat and mid-muffler delete, that we got an extra 1 psi of boost, with no tune changes. So eliminating the cats should allow those turbos to really spool up.

But I do get sick of the Livernois cheerleading squad at times...:hail::hail::hail:

At least I am smart enough not to ask where the TB is located....:evilgrin: LOL:evilgrin: and so are you...:wave::wave:

Honestly, I don't get the point of people getting all upset about off-topic posts in threads. This one got slightly off topic, but honestly, how many people are running catless and can add to the discussion about the original topic? Threads evolve. At least this one stayed somewhat on course.

Honestly, part deux, it's aggravating as **** to see someone whine about "jacking" a thread. It's even more aggravating to see the "lookit what I did ME ME ME ME" attitude.

No whining on my part. More of just an effort to reign in it early on, as it strayed twice.

No "look at me" attitude either. Main reason I posted it (here) was to:

A. Provide actual audio clips..... (as silly enough as it is, you were the ONE that asked for it):

.....and B. I wanted to confirm their actual existence as they were a long time in coming

Moving along, EBB I hear 'ya. I do.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out (as far as stuff potentially breaking, and what/where).

I recall you mentioning about the increase in boost alone, and the accomplishment's achieved through Unleashed Tuning.

Did I miss it or something, but who or where did the downpipes come from? It appears someone made them and I've only heard of one set being produced. I was informed that the sound wouldn't be obnoxious but it sounds like a muffler-less Gen 2 and will probably attract some unwanted attention. Maybe it is just the audio on my cpu, who knows? Kudos though for trying something new! :dribble:

I have a custom dyno appt scheduled for the end of October over @ LMS.

Most tracks will be closed, or closing shortly thereafter......

But I'll see what I can squeeze in :thumb:

It is indeed the infamous and wonderful Mr. Kirk Doucette who produced these.

I am still in mad love with the sound and have received an abundance of compliments since having installed them.

Most people say it sounds more akin to a modded V8, rather than a turbo'd 6.

Also, thnx RP for the heads up on the track info..... I will refer to it, as it relates to my availability on both the home, and the work front, to gauge my attendance.

Is your car registered in Illinois? If so, how will you handle emissions testing? They sent me away this summer when my rear O2s did not respond, since they were shut off in the tune on my GT500. Fortunately I still had my cats, so once they were back on and I had completed a "drive cycle", I was able to pass emissions. Now I have an "emissions tune" to load before testing, but you do need cats for that to work.

Kind of the exact reason why I've retained my stock set up.

I guess I'll find out come that 1st test. If I gotta throw back on the OEM set up, then I will.

Minor inconvenience in the overall grand scheme of things.

You don't need to worry bout emissions testing for a while yet. I just got notice about my Jeep needing it done for the first time, 7 years after buying it new in Dec 2005.

I thought they dropped testing in IL? When I lived there in the early-mid 90s I had to have it done, but I thought they dropped it after I moved out.

I know we haven't received any notices yet for the wife's SUV (which is an '09).

So, suffice it to say, mine will be a full 12mo.'s after we get her notice.

Last I heard, they were just doing the plugin (into the OBDII port) and as long as everything read "green" or what have you..... then you'd pass with flying colors.

Hey shomeda$, this new tunner called the Mycal devise carried by LMS is a completely different tuner. So no compatibility with SCT. This new tuner allows LMS more access to different tables and parameters not available to SCT tuner. The power difference is amazing, I ungraded to the new device while having car dyno tune. Initial pull on dyno with SCT 4+ tune w/meth was 350hp/402tq after tuning with Mycal 403hp/417tq. And probably even more than that, controller meth system took a crap on the final pull.
