I think 3rd gear is going already in the turbo. You can hear this clacking sound like a bad cv, but only when I am in thid, and it gets worse if the clutch is not fully engaged. I could not think of anything that would cause a sound like this in only 3rd gear. It is supposed be fairly new, put in with the new synchros (which I am kind of doubtful of too, seeing as this thing does not shift like it should). Anyway, how much is the new shaft and how much to cryo treat or get a stronger one made? As long as I have everything out, might be a good time for some upgrades
