bogged down and died

I was driving my 89 mtx through the mountains of West Virginia and as i was accelerating at high speed up a mountain my rpm's were still going up but the engine was bogging down bad. once i got to a friends house i turned the car off and when i turned it back on it ran real sluggish around the block and then totaly died. has new battery, starter and selanoid. help me. i'm driving a 4 banger. thanks

Sounds like you simply have to have an engine diagnostic test performed and "they'll" let you know what problems you have. If you can make it to the dealer/other then good. If not have that sucker towed and your insurance will pay or AAA etc. Everyone should get the tow option with your insurance it's cheap. Oh yeah-it's accelerate-as in "My dang sho won't accelerate so I be walkin a lot until it done get fixed"
