Hey GEEKSHO... you commented about custom headlights on your sketchsite... looking for something like these?
TerminatorSmall.jpg

But, onto the topic at hand, I say screw the hood-ram, i have been pondering how to get a "vent" or scoop into the front quarterpanel, where the silencer cone is located. If this could be done, ram air could be setup using the STOCK airbox. By having a hood scoop there, you would have to fabricate a totally new intake design, where the intake box is completely open, on the top, and fits perfectly against the hood. I think you should work on a new bumper design for the SHO to improve air flow to the radiators...

Well, I decided to let loose with some photoshop mad skillz and well, brought to you by JAMES... enjoy :D

on now add a scoop like the newer mustangs have bout middle of the engine bay but don't have is slope down. make it keep the same height so it will have a raised cowl line.
i think the supper charge sho would love the hood. it would be a perfect place to mount a nice ic.

I love the front bumper! I'd but it in a second if it were made. Just a thought maybe you could tweak the bottom a bit to make it even sexier.

how so? what are you thinking? at first i was thinking about elongating it downwards, but then the bumpers would not match the side skirts. Plus, Im not one for lowering... I like to keep it high, so I dont bottom out during mountain driving... :D ... but hey, i can revamp it some, just tell me what youre lookin for...

The whole bumper is awesome, but it may look better if you could make the lower opening a tad bigger, perhaps to fit an intercooler for the boosted guys??? Also would fitting a lip that extends downward from the bottom do anything for the cooling of the car? Like the little plastic piece under the radiator mount? Or maybe add some extra holes next to the fog lights for a ram air setup or for brake cooling ducts? Just throwing out some ideas.

Yes screw the hood modification!

A new front bumber with the ability to change out the stock head lights with lets say the more common aftermarket headlights and fog lights?

larger vents for better cooling.

also some scoops to allow for better brake cooling?

That's the ticket!!!

yah, i agree, i'm not sure if anyone would be able to design a ram air hood that would look good on the sho. The only way would be to do the skyline idea but i dont know if it could be made to look appealing, as the scoop would need to be over to the side of the hood, unless you made a cowl hood with ram-air then ran the duct over the engine but that might not work and won't look appealing. But in order to make the skyline idea work you would need to redesign the intake box and seal it off and plus keep water out. I think k&n's are water resistant and there is some type of fitting that goes on the intake tube that is supposed to keep water out that ricers use, but i dont know how it works. I think AEM makes it. You could also make the hood have the scoop and use it just to blow cool air over the top of the intake runners, i dunno what gains could be made from that tho. My opinion would be to come out with a cheaper cowl hood, to let hot air escape from the back. Or a hood that has some lines or curves to it, not just the stock flat hood. I tried to buy one from cincysho but they wanted over 300 dollars for shipping to illinois plus the cost of the hood.

well, what i was attempting to do, was create a good looking, and functional bumper, from the stock bumper.. if i were to add height to the lower grille, it would cut into the impact bar of the front bumper, and also the liscense plate... so, i was trying to keep it relatively simple while giving functionality and a revolutionary look..., as for extending the front bumper down... i dont think it would add any sort of added airflow, plus it would just mean more bottoming out for James doh

as for the idea of other replacement headlights instead of the stock sable lights, that is an intresting idea, but if one wished to do this, the mounting plate for the lights would have to be adapted, as all lights have different attachment... but if a replacement light could be found that fits the sable lighting system, that would rock...

EDIT: worked till 1 AM for you guys... ya happy??? finger but yeah, heres something maybe you extreme guys will be more into...

Well, you were right the first time. looking at the comparison i defenitly like the first design better. As for the headlights, the different housings are cool, but im not a big fan of two circles in the middle. But all together great job!!!!! thumb But anyway, what are the chances of this bumper being made or is this just a photoshop that you threw together just to do. If you do make it put me down for the first one!!!! finger

Im just throwing out ideas really. I have no experience with bodywork... The only way I would make one, is if i found a spare bumper, for cheap and i had alot of time... I would have to learn fibergalasing, and that sort...

Basically, Im trying to motivate someone that knows what theyre doing and may have the tools to make such a product, throwing out ideas.

hey all,
I have been really busy lately. Don't worry the fb and hood are well still in the works. I'm having trouble copying the renforced bottom part of the hood (underside). P.S My mom was crusing in a construction zone, and well, She hit a *** hole with the SHO and now I have a hole in the y pipe. However, The sho sounds neat...Does anyone know if I can just keep her unrepaired untill spring? The Check engine light keeps coming on...I just figure it's the O2 censor

Thanks all for keeping this post alive,
