First off, huge thanks to bpd1151 and his "how-to" on the Ecoboost Performance forum. I referenced it quite a few times with questions on how and where to mount stuff. Mine install is a tad different. Maybe it's because I have a 2015? The biggest difference being how I had to mount the new washer fluid tank.

I finished up my install today. Took me about 16 hours working in 30 degree weather and taking video. I'm going to try and get the editing done over the next 2 days and then throw it up on YouTube.

First impressions are awesome. I'm using the LMS V11 93 meth tune. I've got the gain **** set to about 7 out of 8. I started it at 4, which LMS recommended I start at, but the meth wouldn't spray. On 7 it feels really nice and you can feel the difference when that green LED illuminates and the meth starts spraying.

For anyone considering meth, just do it. I ordered the kit a few months ago and wish I would have installed it sooner. Curious to see how long the first tank of meth will last :D

Thanks for the kudos and glad my "how-to" tutorial still is of tremendous benefit to both you, and others, even with it being years after I authored it.

That said, you are now experiencing what I and others have long referred to as "perma-grin". That ear to ear smile one gets when that lil green light illuminates and the meth begins spraying and you feel the car launch your @$$ firmly back in the driver's seat.

As far as use goes.....

Well you'll likely go through more on the front end, as it will be incredibly difficult keeping your foot off that skinny pedal.

That said, in due time, and with continued use, you'll learn that sweet spot where you can still demand boost, but yet simultaneously remain out of that range where Methanol is called for.

A boost gauge helps tremendously in this.

Enjoy the fun that lies ahead, as well as all the stunned looks on the faces of those that dare line up against you.

Average meth users see .6 faster in the 1/4 mile. That's HUGE!

Only other direct benefit of power versus dollars invested is a tune alone.

Keep the community posted as to your experiences and once again, enjoy your newly found power!!!

Nice! Please update this thread you started - I'm very curious how long the tank/meth lasts! I'm not kidding when I say I'm at WOT every single time I drive my car! Not constantly, but every time I drive my car I give it at least one good ol' WOT run - not sure how quickly I would go through my meth tank!...

Sweet cant wait to check out the videos! Did you just do the single nozzle meth kit or the multiport setup? Glad to hear that tune is treating you well, these vehicles definitely love the methanol injection thats for sure!

Just went with the single nozzle, I was unaware that the multi was an option. Hmmmm maybe a bit further down the road.

Drove about 200 miles today, mostly highway, and only saw the green LED 3 times. It's much easier to keep my foot off the go-fast pedal when there are no stop lights. So far so good though, no leaks and the car is running amazing.

One question for you BPD, have you had to change any of the hoses, grommets, or any part of the system that touches methanol due to degradation?

Yes.

Pumps last on average 2.5 to 3 years.

Julio over at Alky-Controls does rebuild pumps for half the cost of new ones.

I bought a 2nd new one, and then send in one's that need rebuilding, and just swap in the next pump. Doing it that way equates with minimal, if not zero, down time.

Also, since I am using the OEM Washer Fluid Reservoir, I've had to replace the rubber washer on the low tank sensor a couple of times.

Minimal price on those as well, and can be had through any dealership's parts counter, or online.

I bought a 1/2 dozen of 'em last time.

Other than the two items above, everything else has been maintenance free.

We moved to the direct port system as the single nozzle system created a scenario where you were having too much methanol go to the rear cylinders. To combat this the methanol injection point has to be directly before the port so that all of the intended methanol goes to it's intended cylinder. We've further revised this as well with a programmable controller that allows us to not only ramp in vs. boost, but also RPM so we can ensure just that meth quantity increases with RPM as well. All of these changes have allowed us to correct many trade offs that used to exist with our 1st version of the methanol system. Our current 3rd version provides far more consistency, reliability, and flexibility compared to these earlier approaches. Just another way we are continually improving our offerings for these vehicles.

It is a new custom progressive controller that we found to be alot more functional for the kit, it is seperate as it is mainly used for the multi port system we use not the single nozzle kit on the website

so a few questions!..for all and LMS!
1, If I order the PPE noise maker delete with meth port is this any advantage?
2, does the washer fluid tank offer a low level light when you are low on meth... I think it does?
3, I have a feeling you can not run out of meth or your will run the risk of a lean burn down with meth tune?
4, Can you just put in the not meth tune over the winter (IE the V11.93 )and unplug the meth boost controller as I only need it in the summer time for the track and good pavement?
5, what is the best % meth to water ratio to run?
and the rabbit hole gets deeper....

1, If I order the PPE noise maker delete with meth port is this any advantage? Since there is a meth bung welded onto the pipe, you won't have to worry about drilling into your factory pipe. Nice to have but not requred in my opinion unless you want the piece of mind of not having the factory pipe connections swelling and potentially leaking boost.
2, does the washer fluid tank offer a low level light when you are low on meth... I think it does? You move your factory low washer fluid sensor to the new provided medium sized tank.
3, I have a feeling you can not run out of meth or your will run the risk of a lean burn down with meth tune? Not 100% sure on what happens with this but a bright red LED is provided, so just keep an eye on it. If you do run out of meth you could just flip the controller off and flash back to a non-meth tune.
4, Can you just put in the not meth tune over the winter (IE the V11.93 )and unplug the meth boost controller as I only need it in the summer time for the track and good pavement? See above answer.
5, what is the best % meth to water ratio to run? LMS has it tuned for 100% methanol.
and the rabbit hole gets deeper....

Im going to answer this in order of importance:
5. For our systems they are for 100% methanol not water meth mixtures doing this with the tune we provide for our kit may cause issues and give you the possibility of engine harm
4. Yes you can just swap tunes and turn the **** to off for the alky kit that you probably have, if you had the new style setup with the new controller we would have to flash a tune into the car to actually turn it off which can be done for you as well
3.Yes that is correct you would not want the vehicle to run out of meth while you are doing pulls so it is always mindful to check before going out and hammering on the car, if you run out just simply turn the meth controller off and switch tunes (takes 5 mins or less).
2.When we do the installs here we include a low level light for all methanol installs to help the customer keep track of when they run low.
1. Not really a benefit of the noisemaker delete
