Bluetooth issues

I have a 13 sho with myfordtouch. So for the past month ive been dealing with an issue with my cellphone and in car bluetooth connection.

There are times when the car simply wont connect to my phone via bluetooth although it still states they are paired. After deleting the pair and trying the recreate they wont pair anymore.

The only way i can fix this is to go into the cars settings and select "master reset" after several minutes the radio restarts and i can pair my phone, all is back to normal.

Ive had to do this a handful of times in the past month and would like to see if anyone else has had this problem?

have your dealer check to see if there is an update to Sync that your car needs - that was a problem on early 13s and there was a s/w update that made things 100x better - it sounds like your car may not have gotten that.

Update: just checked owner.ford.com and logged in, said that i had a myfordtouch update for my car lol

I didn't notice a difference so much with the update in my 13 as I noticed the Android version and phone i am using. my 2 year old phone worked way better with mytouch than my brand new phone does. I even checked the compatibility list and everything is supposed to work on my new phone versus old. Id recommend checking the compatibility list if you haven't yet.

Thanks, i have a note 3 which i believe is compatible. I just updated it to android 5.0 and updated my fordtouch to the most recent version.

So far so good but only time will tell. Does anyone know if the new map updates for navigation are worth it? Im running A4

I think A5 is the newest version out, and there aren't that many new roads in the past couple years.

My main reason for wanting is to see if they have the updated speed limits. I really like that feature on our navigation.

I coulda swore i saw them selling A6 cards now. Just didnt know if anyone actually bought one.

A6 is the latest version I know of as well. $100+ on EBay.

Really not a bad price compared to some other cars Nav updates.
