Given the choice of black or white, I would go with white for sure. As everyone stated, black is a PIA to keep looking nice. I like the idea of two-tone, however. Not an SHO but this was my choice:

Having owned a Tuxedo Black 2010 and a White Platinum 2013, I can say I'd never go back to the black. It looks good in the sun when it's perfectly clean, but that doesn't last more than a few minutes once you start driving. Then it's clean up time for a few more minutes of looking good. On the other hand the white has to be relatively dirty to look any where near as bad. It's easy to get several days of driving in before it's notably ugly looking.

Throw in the added benefit of being much cooler in the summer sun and it's a no brainer for me.

The only thing I miss about the black one is the umber insert seats. They were exceptionally good looking.

Hey now! What about silver metallic (Ignot Silver) - it's the most amazing silver out there and I used to own a couple Audi models with silver and my Ford looks better so major credit to Ford in creating this color! In the sun it's a perfect silver, shiny finish. With the black trim, wheels, and tinted windows it's a perfect contrast. And I'm not biased really, I've owned all colors expect white - very plain and boring (right bpd1151?) Just teasing again!

Ha! Dude I love the ribbing!

All good in my book. I would begin to think I was/am LESS loved if y'all didn't toss in a well deserved jab in every now and then.

Tease away my friend!

When I was shopping around for my SHO, I was looking at black, it’s by far the most common color. Then I saw a 13 Green Gem Metallic, and I had to have it. Passed on a good deal on a 16 Tuxedo Black for the 13 (also a good deal but still older and obviously more miles) just because the color was so different and sharp. Expand your palette beyond black and white, there’s some good ones out there, in my opinion

The tux black really does look dull unless freshly washed. I recommend a true black over the tux black. My 14 year old black pontiac still looks "blacker" than my 2013 tux black SHO.

But BPD's white with black accents looks so good I've started to appreciate white cars.
