I know it wouldn't be easy. I still have a lot to learn.
I know the sho motor is much different, but I have helped build a few high hp ohv v8 engines. I built one for myself that is reliable and powerful, but it's carbureted.
If I want to i'm sure I would be able to learn how to use the tweecer. As long as I had the patience.
I would take the time to do the proper research before spending the money. It wont be anytime soon, unfortunately.
Thanks for the info
I knew 3" would be overkill for a stock sho. I didn't know you would need an exhaust that big for 300 hp. I probably should be running 4" on my other car.
I wonder how much someone would charge to tune a car. I think he's like 8 hours away from me?

Exhaust system should match the collector. The collector should be 50% larger than the primary tubes. The SHO has 1.5 inch primary so the collector should be 2.25 inch. On the SHO its 1.9 inch, so slightly undersized. Members on this forum have found power by boring out the stock collector, which makes sense with the statement above.

did you just say OHV ? lol

well at least your not modding flatheads :p

or maybe you put some arduns on a flatty ... idk ...

Yeah I don't know why I said that, I never have. I should have just said sbc, or small block chevy. I thought they were called ohv engines, that would be funny if I was wrong.
I don't know much about flathead engines, I wonder if you can make good power with them? I have worked on an L head, lol. I don't know what arduns are? I have to say I thought it would be much easier to properly tune a holley 4 barrel.

OHV was leading edge tech in 1955. Serious bragging rights. Kinda like bragging that your car has factory Electronic Fuel Injection. In 1981, EFI was my personal bragging right, owning the very first injected Toyota.
