I'm not trying to set any records in the world but rather trying to keep Ole Girl running reliably with this deep south heat. With this price point for an IC with the potential to support the minor future goals I have, I'm watching this topic closely.

I hear you there, not looking to set records, just looking to break ceilings!

At 151K miles, she's on borrowed time until breaking something.

It's been a good car, paid off for several years, and I got bored so I'm dumping some cash/time into it to restore some luster my wife joked about rubbing off. I took it personally when she attacked my side-piece.

Let's hypothetically say I broke the clip the is under the bumper that joins the fender and bumper, not the little screw type, the one that is much larger and the top of the sides of the bumper slide into it... You guys happen to know that part number?

Welp, I pulled the trigger. I bought a Mishimoto 24x12x4 intercooler, Most of the parts you listed and some aluminum pipe and plate to replace my bash bar with.

Let us know how it goes, 12 is a bit tall for 4 inch deep unless the condensor is pushed in behind the core support. Not that it can't be done, just curious how it shakes out!

I'm pulling the bash bar and building one to accommodate a taller intercooler.

In the words of Dom, I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters.
No, I'm just playing. I get that is a risk but I think it is a much smaller risk than perceived.

Very cool and interesting. Definitely following.

Aluminum tubing for a crash bar? What size you planning on going with?

I already have the materials actually, will be building it today or tomorrow. It's 1" OD x 0.750" ID x .125" Wall 6061-T6 Aluminum Tube with 3/16" 6061-T6 Aluminum Plate to bolt the bash bar to the frame.

Recently had some questions about build/install, just bumping to make it easier to find.
