Does anybody know a Dave Pillsbury out of Flint, MI and how to contact him?? I bought some BBB from him off of ebay on August 21st. He hasn't sent them out, no communication, no nothing. Just wondering if anybody in this great community can help me out. He said he had them all assembled and ready to go, then his kid coated them in loctite and he had to do them all over. I said ok, no problem. Well since his last email on September 27th, I haven't received any word on how they're coming, and his email doesn't work, and he's no longer registered on ebay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sucks getting taken for $190. Oh well, never gonna do that again.

Many of the people that dealt with Dave turn and run when they see him. Others pick up a weapon and run after him. It's unfortunate, but there isn't much hope of getting a straight deal from him.

Look in the Hall of Fame or Shame (where this thread will be soon) and you'll find more similar stories. Your best bet is to get in touch with Paypal or USPS to make a claim, he's already removed from eBay so I doubt they'll do anything at all. If you're lucky you will have paid with your credit card via Paypal since Paypal really won't do anything unless you dispute it with your credit card company. Sad but true on all counts.

If you saw the posting "BBB Scam" you will see that Dave also beat my son & I on the same deal, but for two sets (and we sent the cores in advance). I actually had him respond a couple of times but he has since gone underground. I don't expect to ever hear from him again, but if I make it to Flint, you can bet that I will go to small claims court. Sorry for your dilemma. For the future, stick with solid vendors like Midwest, Sho Nut, RCM and others, I know I am.

I am taking this "dave pillsbury" to small claims court in flint MI. If anybody else wants to jump on the bandwagon, let me know. my email is [email protected]. I've had enough of this guys crap.

Finally got an email back from Dave, said he's "gonna make this right one by one". Gave me some story how his computer got hacked into. I'll believe it as soon as i get a legitimate shipping #. He says he's in court right now because of another one. Karma is a killer i guess. Thanks again everyone for your help and info.
