Slow and steady wins the race. Figure the race is just me against @802SHO at this point. Only person with a sho more built at this point. I've got some tricks up my sleeve and our battle will be epic at this rate.

Car is getting ready for launch tunes and I've got spare parts locked and loaded as I need them.

Couple updates. Found some exhaust leaks. That was an easy fix. Then finally got around to weighing it. Car weighed in at 4570lbs when I had bought it and I've thoroughly gone through this thing.

Things removed or lightened from the car:
Full exhaust
No ac components at all
No dash or vent stuff
No interior
20" wheels to 18" wheels
Removed the nitrous that was installed
No sunroof
Shaved and cut dash bar and doors

Long story boring didn't want to effect aerodynamics or integrity of the car and this is what we ended up with. This is with it being AWD as well. Car also has maybe another 80lbs of gas and methanol in it that it probably could use up

A thousand pounds lighter, quite the accomplishment! Does it wobble like you have the windows open?
It's actually very solid and other than just road noise with the exhaust out the hood it's still pretty quiet. i could take it on a couple hour drive and not have my ears ringing.

That's weird, my Lincoln MKS with a quarter tank of gas was almost 30 lb lighter than you're starting point. It had the Dual pane sunroof in it and the brake up grade. Wonder what happened between 2010 and 2013 model years.

Gotta also remember this car has/had: a nitrous system, 2 2.5gallon methanol and 2 meth pumps, pretty heavy intercooler.

Dear Jordan, I hope this message receives you with its correct meaning and thoughtfulness. Now that your car got the pre-requisite surgery - GLP1 is available for all human riders, that or driving the car with drone controls... jus... sayin... ;)

Without driving too deep into the numbers I went to a test n tune yesterday to get some launches in and a bunch of data. Long story boring the car really performed. No new record or anything but really positive reinforcement that this car can move the needle.

Few things we found out:
Car is shifting into second on the launch and that was lowering sixty foot pretty badly. We had moved the shifting so low because the rpm sweep was so fast that it was hitting limiter before shifting. 1.9 60' was the average for the day. (Second gear launches incoming?)

The car top ends like a mf. 127.5mph was the best trap of the day with 35% wgdc so plenty of room to turn it up more.

The car doesn't like when you try to shove over 29lbs lol (max 3 bar)

Overall we ran some very promising low 11 passes. Didn't break anything and got to realizing that there is plenty to go. Probably have easily a half second in changes that can be made in the software side. Brad is doing some amazing tuning for a car that has a humongous amount of differences over a factory set up. (manual boost controller, different ratios in transmission, converted from AWD to 4WD) The dang car throws an error for pretty much assist system. AWD off, service advancetrac, and errors, etc etc. Pretty much everything but the CEL is on.
