Some time ago I posted about my adventures in the death of the sender for my oil pressure instrument. Well, the new Autometer instruments arrived yesterday, so the old Borg Warner oil pressure and voltmeter instruments are now out, the voltmeter headed for the Scirocco, and the oil pressure meter for the spares shelf. The two Autometers are in, and not only do they look very good now that all 4 of the instruments are Autometers, but, the oil pressure needle reads the right pressure, and even moves in the correct direction when the pressure goes up or down, which was not happening with the Autometer sender to the Borg Warner instrument. 
Because you could not buy just the meter without a sender, I now have a spare oil pressure sender, also headed for the spares shelf. It all came out well, if costly.
