ATX gear shift lever won't move!

I left my ignition switch on while working on my 94ATX and didn't realize that my battery had died.Charged up my battery and now I can't shift out of park. It won't move! Usually you can hear a click when you depress the brake(so you can shift) Any ideas?

Your BOO (Brake on/off) switch has failed. It is mounted on the brake arm, and is very cheap to replace.

You can make sure it is this by turning the ignition to "off" and you should be able to change gears, but if that is the case, DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. You won't have any brake lights.
