ATX 1-2 shift question..

The tranny was rebult at 109k I dont know what fliud was used, but under only normal driving, the 1-2 shift is pretty firm, and sometimes shakes almost as if there is a tranny mount busted.... what could be causeing the firm, and shaking 1-2 shift? maybe even a broke front motor mount? under WOT its smooooooth

I got a new revised trans in my car and it does the same, only when you confuse it like getting on the gas getting on and then getting of so now I dont do that anymore. I think I may have a bad motormount which might cause the shake. But then again mine chirps second gear when you are on a slight grade at WOT.

I have the same problem. Mine is a broken motor mount. I hope you didnt have your trans rebuilt because of that. I had my trans checked twice before the trans shop figured out it was a bad front motor mount, they are the first to go. I'll replace mine when a warm day rolls around or before April 3rd at least(New England Dragway opens) thumbs_u

Mine does the same thing, but I think it's got a broken rear motor mount. I haven't been able to really check it out, but it shifts nice and smooth under WOT, but regular driving it shakes, has a firm 1-2 shift, and also slips all at the same time
