Howdy All,
I could really use some help. My Maroon 91 now will not turn over. I replaced the starter solenoid and checked the wire going down to the starter with a multi-meter. I also replaced the starter with a new one. When you turn the key to start the ICRM clicks but that’s it. I also switched the IRCM out with a spare and jumped the solenoid with the same relay box click. I am at a loss right now and have several cars down so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on? Does it click when you try to start it?

If it will not "Crank" its the battery &/or Starter &/or the wireing between them.
Of coarse you are pushing the clutch pedal in right? & have not messed with that clutch pedal switch!

Could the clicking you hear be the starter solenoid? That would indicate a bad battery or bad connection in the big cable. You can test the starter operation by jumping between the big cable and the small terminal on the solenoid (with its wire disconnected) to engage the starter. A remote starter switch or long leads are needed so you can do this safely clear of the car. Take extreme care to ensure the transmission is in neutral and brakes firmly set.

I finally got it. Thanks for all the help guys! Guess what it was? I had a bad alt, never thought that would cause anything. But, some how it causes a no start condition. By the way if you pull the alt off the car, it wont turn over either. So somehow it causes this condition. Anywho thanks a bunch!!!!!
