Anyone know anyone in south-eastern Michigan that can install my stage 2 cams (along with the polished valve covers) for me for a reasonable price.

Is the guy's name Tom? If so, don't count on having the shims by next weekend.SHOitoff95:
The guy who is gonna send the shims said that I need to find out which size shims I need first then he will send them.
Ok, that's good news, but keep in mind that every head is different. You can take the cams off a car and reinstall them on the same head and sometimes the measurements for the shims can be different. In other words, while the shims he's going to send you may have worked for when they were in his car, the chances that you'll obtain the same measurements when they are installed on your car are not very high. Does that make any sense? If not shoot me a PM and I'll try to explain it a little better.SHOitoff95:
It was SHOmurph I beleive. I bought the cams from Craig Smith and he had SHOmurph take them out of his motor and sent them. The shims I guess broke or something so he had to get new ones to send and he just PM'ed me and said to find out which ones I need so he can just send those ones.
Installed? Sure.SHOitoff95:
Do you think I could be able to get the cams in in a day?
You're on the right track! thumb Macomb Powersports carries them as does the Kawasaki dealer up in Macomb Twp. They are a perfect replacement, just make sure they are the 29mm shims.SHOitoff95:
Well Bizzy said there was a yamaha dealership that had shims so maybe if I do the cams we can just run to the store and buy the ones we need.
