I don't know how many of you remember Burt with the White 91 Plus (I'm sure Chris would). He also owned a nice Blue Z06. Anyways, he sold it to Tony (not sure of his forum name), and I believe Tony sold it to someone else.

Well, bad news. I saw it at LKQ the other day. It was in the parking lot still, not even in the yard. But it had snow tires on it (they were bald and one was flat), the car was starting to rust pretty good, and the back window was smashed out. I'm 99% sure that is was his. Mocha interior. I know Tony took those goofy 'dust caps' out of the wheels, so those weren't on it. 10 years ago, it was one of the nicest white pluses I had ever seen. Too bad, poor car.

I didn't think to even snap a picture on my cell phone.... ooops!

I wish, but I did snag some parts off of it :). I hope to go back in a couple of weeks and see if there is anything left of it....

It's the Grand Rapids, MI one, but it's address is actually Wayland. Let me know if you are in town, you are welcome to visit! Did you know Burt?

No, I didn't know Burt. But I do have a strange condition called
"gotta have more SHO parts".
Quite a rare condition, I've been told only a few dozen people are afflicted by it. There is no cure or treatment. Even worse, according to at least one spouse it may be a fatal condition.

We may include the western part of the state this summer as I wander towards Mackinaw. That brings up my other condition, "gotta have fudge":dribble:

Damn. I do remember him and the SHO. Such a shame it has ended up in a yard. Gotta keep the good ones going man!

A friend of mine was at the yard the other day and said he couldn't find it. I'm not sure if it went in and out that fast, or if it's just in the holding area inside the gates....

Howdy to all of you!

Howdy dude. I think of you every time I'm working in Monroe or take my kids to the bounce house at the mall. I also think of you every time someone says, "This is not good dude this is not good!". While trying to put the flames out that could burn their garage down.

The car is now in the yard. Very little is missing yet. Spoiler and grille are gone, i took the 3 center caps i could find and the trunk storage compartments. The catless y is hacked up (I think they were trying to cut the cats out before putting it in the yard). All 4 white canadian slicers were still there (laying around the car) and still has 2 good snow tires.

Trunk is very rusty, rest of the car has rust starting around the edges, but not terrible yet. Interior is very dirty and front mocha seats are very torn up. Is very sad to see it in this condition. I remember when it was absolutely perfect when I first saw it in 2002. It always made me want a white plus.

Sad story, and kind of painful to read.
It would be great if the front and rear bumpers and door cladding (all have the body painted rub strips) could be saved; as well as the rims, and of course, the hood. Everything except the hood can be faked by painting regular SHO parts to match, but I would not be surprised to find some obscure part numbering that identifies them as the real deal.
Not all plusses came with the rear spoiler, so that is not so critical. The tail lights and that 3 bulb wiring harness would be good to save as well.
So sad.

The metal strips on the door cladding all are showing some rust. The front bumper cover I was thinking about, except I'd have to paint the white strip black, or paint the rest of the black trim white on the 89. The middle part on the bottom is broken off anyways, and has some scuffs on it. The tail lights are not in fantastic shape either. I don't remember anything very wrong with the rear bumper cover, except maybe some rust staining....

I remember taking a bunch of stuff off of any SHO in the yard, but now I have so many extra parts, it's hardly worth it anymore!
