My service engine light is on and after driving for a few minuted the "OD OFF" light begins flashing. After having the codes pulled I was informed that the shifter solenoid is stuck closed. Does this mean that the OD is permanently off, on, or not shifting? It seems to still shift OK. Can I drive it like this without permanent transmission damage? Can it be driven short term until I can get it into the shop for repair?

You can probably drive it for a while before it goes completely. Mine started acting up, I drove it for a week and then drove it down to NESHO (about 450 miles).

What were the exact code numbers?

FWIW, the solenoids can be replaced with the transmission still in the car.
