Question, I have a 95" SHO MTX, I have run the EATC code check and it comes up with no codes. But, my A/C does not work... I have tried to charge the system, but it wont take a charge, so I assuming it is full.... Havent put a gauge set on it... What are some common problems with the system? I bought it this spring from a guy in Michigan who bought it new. He said he never ran the A/C, which I am not sure if he is telling the truth, or he knew it didnt work. Any help would be appriciated. Or what to do/where to go to get "troubleshooting"... dont want to get ripped off!

I was looking at the SHOsource website, how possible is it that it is the A/C compressor cycling switch? Can I meter out the switch on my car, and what should it read?

sounds like something with the compressor, can you hear it cycle on and off when you turn the A/C on/off?

Check for voltage at the low pressure switch(clutch relay switch) it is on the passenger side on top of the dryer can.If voltage there jump it n see if the clutch engages,if no,move on to either the plug on the compressor or do it the easy way on the ccrm.

If you do have power at the crs (relay switch) take your volt meter and see if you have power at the comp, pain in the ass to get to the plug so I check it at pin 16 and 23 on the ccrm.Leave the ccrm plugged in,start the car ,put A/C on max air and check for voltage across pin 16 to pin 23.if no voltage replace ccrm and retest.

I did all this last weekend plus installed a new clutch, and now mine is blowing popsicles!

another question....

So, if my cruise control didnt work could it be linked to this? Does the cruise go through the CCRM?Is it possible that the guy who had it before me had this replaced and Ford or whomever didnt install the right one?

My 1995 SHO came from Michigan new, and is an MTX... maybe someone knows which CCRM I should have?
