Wow, it really wasn't difficult, a little nerveracking for me, but all the advice was great and it was just the everybody said it would be. Removed the shim, put it all back together and so far so good, air conditioner is blowing cold and staying cold, knock on wood. So thanks to everybody who helped through this!
