My alternater isn't up to par anymore. I need a new one, but I have a big system so I would like advice on who has a good valued alternater with more output than I currently have. Currently it is the factory (original) 90amp alternater.

(I posted under elec with no results. Trying here)

I don't know what year they switched, but I know my '94 MTX had a 130 amp alternator stock. If it will bolt up to your accessory brackets & electrical connections, that might be a good upgrade for you.

Do you mean that the battery is not staying charged?

How about a smaller pulley on the alternator, better primary wires and a good deep discharge battery?

The battery isn't staying charged, so I know I need a battery. The wires are all new (or recently new). And the output of the alternator is about 13.5v at its best under no load, and 12.8v under load. It seems that everything kinda crapped out at the same time...
