Just have a shop rebuild the one that's dead. You'll probably be better off doing that than buying a reman one.

Edit: $200 new? Even more reason to have it rebuilt. I think I payed around $100.

I had a shop P and G Keene rebuild mine 3 times before getting one from NAPA, they never did it right or something. I got tired of the trouble and just went and spent the $200. It was $85 for them to rebuild but the regulator kept failing that they put in. Never had that problem with any other alternator ive had them rebuild.

At a idle I can see my lights flickering. New battery and I'm at 13.9 volts at idle. Seems low to me. Could my regulator be the cause of the lights that flicker?
