Since I live all the way up here in Maine where the winters suck, I've decided against getting a cold air induction snorkel. Instead I'll just get a K&N Panel filter, and drop it in the stock airbox. My question is, can the inner airbox be trimmed with a dremel to provied better airflow? If so, where should I cut? Thanks in advance, the people on this forum are the best!

I drilled four 1" holes beneath the filter when I first got my K&N, but a few people said it was a bad idea. I haven't had any problems with it yet though.

really, anything beyond an induced cai or a real ram-air set up won't make a difference, i've concidered many options myself....
