So apparently a rat was living in my newly acquired sho. It runs great, so what do these 2 eatin through lines do? Could this be why my abs light is on?
(I just now installed that white connector...)

Better question - how does your window washer work?
D4iYlia

The vacuum hose maybe is the fuel tank vapor line; whatever it is, you can just patch that section with new vacuum hose and some RTV.

I have no idea how this sho runs like a beast... in that last pic. .. the wire in the loom... it is in 2 pcs. It looks like a ground of some sort. (That's the edge of the battery on the right) Anone know what it is?

there are abs wires in that bundle that goes through the firewall at the very far passenger side of the firewall, so its possible they chewed on one or more of those.

there is a smaller ground that comes off the battery and runs to the chassis in the last photo. I can't quite tell what that is in the pic.

apparently, you need to get some D-con rodent feed...

I had an issue at one point with rodents on some cars that sit in the back yard. only thing that worked is those ultrasonic noise maker things. Haven't had an issue since. Tried all the baits, feed, glue traps, etc. Plus last thing you want is to have it eat that and then die someplace in your car.

20170121 121958 here's that wire in the last pic that has been chewed in 2 pieces. There are 3 wires inside the sheath/loom. One of which is completely severed. Does that p/N ring a bell with anyone?

Just patch the broken wire.

Here's the list of all connectors on that harness (not that it matters), for example 170 is the ABS test port:

Lol. I did. Hope I don't catch my sho on fire. I also saw that harness on ebay when I googled that p/n. But as far as I could tell. .. everything was working. My ABS light DID go OFF for a few minutes AFTER I patched it (thinking that had something to do with it) but it lit back up after a moment. Lol

You have to read the ABS codes to find the fault. Typically something like one of the ABS pump module solenoids being burnt out.
