Well between the 100w foglights and the 55w projectors it lights up alright. they arent aimed perfect its close its hard to duplicate the same mounting of the projectors with out computer drawing / cutting.

I just mounted it the same way they were originally mounted.

Well im dont have any extra fishtanks laying around to help you guys out if i did and wasnt at school and had the time to fool around i would gladly make more but wheres the fun in it for you guys. It wasnt hard at all to do. if you have a like a handheld scroll saw then you can do this maybe invest in a little sanding wheel thing for a drill. A word of advice though is to go slow and take a little off at a time then check for fitment. it really wasnt too difficult and i had no idea how it would turn out. i just used common sense like figuring out how the light needed to be aimed right to left due to the fact that the lens of the light is not square with the front of the car.

I like. You should sell pre-made kits if you have the time to do so. :thumb:

The Outcome Looks great. I will have to get a spare set of fishtanks to mess around with. It will give me a good project for the winter so when i get my new SHO it will be done! Nice work man :thumb:

While we are on the subject of lights... anyone modoified, or upgraded their headlights.
I would like to increase the brightness of my headlights.
Anyone figured out how to have both brights and lows on, like when you pull the signal light stick?
Anyone converted to HID?
Looking for ideas.

There have abeen a few to modify the housings. One guy is selling his set for like $750 but it is one of the best sets done. I know some one made a set for their Gen1 and is on the forums. Some one else is working on a kit but it will be a while. I know Bizzy (Beth) has but HIDs in hers. Do a search you will find lots of information.

You can buy HID kits on Ebay, our lights were not designed to work with HIDs but they can work. THat would be the most expensive drop in setup you can get currently. You can also get Silverstars which would be another alterative.

You do not want to have both headlights and brights on as you will **** off a lot of people.

Just an idea BallsoutSHO, have you considered just making a bracket and mounting the fog light? Might look a little better, or at least more clean. Just an idea.

I like the somewhat stock look. it would look horrible if the lights were just sitting in the vast emptiness left with out the fish tanks.

There are a couple people on the forum that have done projectors in their cars. James Downing is one that has done a VERYnice set of projectors and look awesome. I think that is his forum name also. I would get in contact with him if you are interested! :thumb:

And how would you suggest going about that the bulbs that fit only get so bright. unless there was some other sort of projector to use.
