Check the freon first, recharge it and see it if helps. Easiest thing to do first.

I did have the freon charged. After a week or two, it started shutting off again.

All the electronics on these cars they will eventually nickel and dime ya. Might started to already. Needed wiper switch, now needs steering wheel buttons. Now the window switches act up. Just part of long term ownership. Most people get rid of these new time cars at 100k miles.
