Ok been trying to get the ac to work in my 92. when trying to charge the system the compressor will not kick on, tried using a jumper to by pass the low pressure swithc and still nothing. All fuses are fine that have to do with the ac system. Are there any other switches or maybe a relay that needs to be checked? Also checked the wire leading to the low pressure switch and it seems it isnt gettting any juice. Any ideas. Tired of dealing with the heat

Hook up the compressor clutch to direct power. just make a short harness that connects to the battery, which is only a couple inches away. If the clutch engages, then it's a problem with the wiring or switches. There is also a high pressure cut-off switch which may be malfunctioning (happened in my aerocrap van). If the clutch does not engage with direct power, you need to get a new clutch or field coil.
Or you can take apart the clutch and remove one spacer shim (there are 2, remove the thickest one) to get the clutch gap closer, which might make the clutch engage if your field coil got weak.

But first of all, hook up clutch to direct power.
