My ac needed charged... i bought the r-134 and tried to charge my ac at the firewall on the suction side... the fitting on the suction line would not allow me to connect the r-134 fitting... The fitting had female threads and a hex head 1/4 inch below the top...
I assumed that it was not converted and bought a conversion kit ... i unscrewed the fitting that was on it because none of the conversion fittings were made with male threads for the suction side... when i unthreaded the fitting it released all of the charge in the a/c because there was no shrader valve under the fitting...
my problem now lies with the male threaded stem on the suction line... it is a smaller diameter than the r134 conversion fitting... i have talked to 3 different service advisors at 3 different dealers and nobody has any idea what i am talking about...
has anyone had this problem with there SHO and how did you solve it...
