pull the battery overnight and reset the codes..

if it doesnt help, follow one of the ABS sensor wires from the brakes and unplug it and it should disable the system.

To pull the codes from the ABS go to a local automotive parts store and buy a Ford code reader. They were about 27 bucks last I looked. They also read ABS codes.

follow the wires. they meet under the rear seat and pop through the body of the car into the inside from there.. follow the wires to the firewall and see if there is any screws poking them or something..

i pulled the main fuse under the hood to to abs pump and it went off.
i started the car and it worked fine. and the abs light went off

thanks, i will check those wires for those sensors and play it from there.

but i still don't think that if i had a sensor problem, that would make the abs pump stay on after i turn the car off.

No, that's definitely a problem. If you pull a sensor the light should come on and the ABS should be deactivated.

RangerJ had an ABS diagnostic thread somewhere around here- do a search under his name or maybe a pm (private message) would help you out. He's a really nice and helpful guy. Just don't tell him I sent you, I'm always bugging him. :D
