Well my issue is the light doesn’t come on when all the lights come on before you turn the cae over to start but me Speedo works fine. The light isn’t blow eitherJust to be sure, do you have engine light on? Be sire the fuse isn't blown. They get weak after 20+ years.
With the motor inside the car ?You wont be able to swap the module off the front of the ABS unit. Its pretty simple to just swap the whole unit. I just had a whole issue with my 99 where the speedo stopped working. My ABS light never came on when turning the key or while running. You can unplug the connector from the ABS module and then the light should come on the dash. I would find a dirt road or somewhere slick and see if the ABS is actually out. I was able to swap the whole unit in an hour or 2. Only things that needs removed is plastic battery tray and battery tray bracket. I can help walk you through it if you end up needing to swap it out.
Also how did you bleed everything after you were done ? I’m iso a abs unit if I need oneYou wont be able to swap the module off the front of the ABS unit. Yes. Swapping the abs unit was very simple. Removing the battery/tray/mount gives you direct access to the abs unit. It took me the longest to get the battery tray mount out. There is 3 rubber shock absorbers that mount the abs pump. If you unbolt the front rubber mount you can pull it off the unit which should give you enough room to slide it forward off the 2 rear rubber mounts. Then it's just undoing the 6 lines and bending them up out of the way so you don't lose too much fluid. And for bleeding the unit. I just cycled the abs pump a few times using the ABS testing function on the Autel maxiCOM we have, and then bleed each brake normally. You can get the pumps from SHO source. https://shosource.com/products/ols/products/gen3-abs-pump-96-99With the motor inside the car ?
