You can pull the codes via the ABS Data link connector with a code scanner. I would bet its the ABS relay which is mounted to the upper crossmember just behind the drivers side headlight.

..or the ABS computer or the dump valve, or the whatever...

Seriously, guys, without reading the codes, you might as well fart into a hurricane as to guess about the fault at this point.

You would need to purchase a code reader thats capable of pulling ABS codes or stop by your local Autozone, Advanced or simular parts store most of them pull them for free (when they know what they are doing).

Forgot this in my first post Check the abs fuse(s) under the hood if its a 92-95 (fuse links if 89-91)
As I eluded in my first part the ABS power relay is a simple easy part that you can discconect and check the terminals of both the wire harness and the relay its self. They tend to corrode and then the ABS will stop recieving power. Its also something that you can easily test (if you or somebody you know can use a simple volt meter) and therfore requires no wasted money in parts.

Sure the codes would be very helpfull in narrowing down whats wrong but they by no means are required.

Check out the sticky at the top of this forum regarding pulling your abs codes. You will learn how to pull and interpret the abs codes in a very similar fashion to pulling the codes for your check engine light.
Take the money you would have spent on the code reader and roll it back into your SHO and leave a bit for a donation to this forum to keep information like this flowing!!!

My ABS light is on, code shows right front sensor. I went to check the sensor and realized the reluctor ring on the axle shaft, which is what the sensor reads, is gone. It rusted right off but the axle is in perfect condition. Unusual but true. I am going to replace the axle and hope the sensor is ok.
