ABS light

Ok guys and gals. My ABS light just came on. Besides running a code check, what and where do I need to look at for possible problems. Brake fluid is OK, brakes work fine.

My ABS light is on and the sensor for the ring on one of my tires is fried

A code check is the best way to diagnose the problem unless you want to go through your entire system. Too much to look over IMO, but cracked sensor rings seem common along with fuses, etc.
