So the ABS light is on, has been for a while. I was hoping new front sensors would fix everything but no dice. The story as I understand it is the ABS won't even display the codes. So my wrench (without spare ABS module) is at a standstill.

Does anybody have a spare they can lend me (him)? Does anybody have any suggestions of stuff to check so the codes can be pulled and some specific ailment pinpointed and resolved?

Thanks in advance to anybody with ideas...

Is the light bulb good?

The sensors are easy to check. Find the appropriate wires at the connector, put a voltmeter on AC and spin the wheel. You will get a voltage reading. On my '97 the front was higher voltage than the back.

When my light came on it was for a failed ABS pump. I was able to have the codes pulled by Ford though. I don't know if this is your case.

I have a donor ABS module in another's 95 SHO... question: will hacking through that huge trunk of wires going into the module... wait if you hack, it won't be worth the postage to ship it to St. Louis...

So if said donor carefully disassembles his 95 SHO in order to carefully extricate the ABS module {right like THATS going to happen!} will this missing part cause his 95 to misbehave in all kinds of hard to diagnose ways???

Thanks in advance to them's that know and share...

Disconnect header, remove ABS ECU, ship.

They'll be staring at an ABS light, but that's about it.

Found the problem(s)

#1 - The relay on the core support was NASTY (watersoaked at one time)
#2 - The relay on the side of the pump was bad
#3 - The ABS module was bad

In order, I did the small relay, that powered up the pump. It threw several codes. I then changed the Module, that changed the codes. Then I changed the 2 *** relay at the pump, and the light shut off.

I chased my tail a few years ago with this.
My problem was the 2 relay's that are under the ABS pump.
