I remember the first time I tried no lift shifting on my 1990 SHO. It was indeed awesome. 5 or 6 times after I broke my cable shifter fitting at the shifter

2-3 tenths.

I do it in road racing if I am trying to reel somebody in drafting on a straight or going for it during a TT sticker tire lap.

Mark, How many cameras are in/on your car?

Obviously the no lift is ******* things, but I really don't know what would break as long as you don't miss a gear?

I have go pro mounts everywhere. I have 4 go pros and a 5th non go pro camera I can run at the same time.

if you miss the shift while under WOT, you won't get gear engagement and it's ******* the blocker rings, and the engagement teeth of the synchro and the gear (you will round them off). At least with the MTX-IV, I have put fresh blocking rings on a pair of heavily worn engagement teeth on the synchro/gear pair and had it shift perfectly fine after, so... Also ******* the shift forks, and in the case of the T56 tremec, ******* the cheap stamped synchro keys, and shift fork pads.

On the engagement point (assuming you get it right), it's ******* the clutch hub, pressure plate, input shaft, and anything else down the line. It's actually very easy to do with the quartermaster 5.5" stock car clutch due to the very short travel required to engage, and how fast the plate/spring snaps back when you get off the pedal. The hydraulics are also top notch (they are quartermaster, not GM) so the release/engagement period is very very short and crisp.
