I drive a 95 genII, Im looking for an A/C compressor and found one on E-Bay but it says its for a 3.0 min is an automatic and therefor has the 3.2. I dont see why they would be any different but i would like someone to confirm that they are the same for both engines before i make the purchase! Anyone know for sure?

Well from what I understand about the ATX to MTX is that the ATX is a single belt and the MTX is a dual belt as required by the accessories. So if you have a 3.2 ATX you will need a single belt. (Veterans please correct me If this is wrong)

While they have different part numbers, I have been told they are interchangeable, but I have never tried it myself.

I used to work for NAPA and I have a 95' MTX, so naturally when it was slow all I would do is look up parts for my car. I do clearly remember that the MTX and ATX had different part numbers and the ATX one requiring more money. While I did not open both boxes and look to see what the exact difference was, it's better to be safe than sorry and save yourself the hassle of trying to return something through ebay.

It's the same compressor ATX to MTX, just make sure that they aren't selling you a 3.0 VULCAN compressor, which I would consider likely.

Me too. Guaranteed.

If it isn't a 10P15F compressor, it's the wrong one. The Vulcan uses an FS-10 IIRC.

All I really need is the clutch bearing but no one can seem to get it, a couple part stores said they have one but its the wrong size mine is bigger than the one the part stores carry, so my next thought was to get a clutch assy. But a clutch was about the same price as the whole compressor on E-Bay. Has anyone had this problem with the bearing? And if so dose anyone know where i can just get the correct bearing and save myself time and money?

We could get the compressor and/or clutch up on SHO Source. I am not sure on pricing. We can't get the bearing though.

Iv thought of getting a new pulley, but the number on the bearing i have crosses to the bearing NAPA had witch is the wrong size, so im afraid if i get a new pulley it will have that bearing in it and it wont fit my compressor???
