Hey, I know that its a common problem with the 98 sho for the speedometer to go to 0 after 110-120. Anyway to change this? Like could you hook up a speedo cable to the back tire or would that screw things up? At night I like to cruise over 110 but it aggravates me I cant know my speed unless i have my gps out thanks
:thankyou:

Just replace the wire from the ABS computer to the C-130 connector with something thicker than the 22AWG wire the factory used and that should eliminate the problem.

??? You have done this with success, Chris? First time I have heard about that as a fix.

Tried twice (first time by accident wiring the 2002, second time intentionally to verify) and worked twice.

Thought I mentioned it before, but I also thought I'd be rich and retired by now...

For the amount of aggrevation, dirt and effort, and so on, the answer is get a Tom Tom, it does more than tell you how fast your going, they are cheap in the USA, Tigerdirect, and they can be connected to the pc and updated, and help find a beer store!
