Hi guys I’m brand new here! I have a really nice example of a red 96. I bought it with a blown cam for $500. The car has no rust interior in great shape. I bought an engine from the shosource.com with cams welded they even threw a transmission in with it. So I’m happy to say the engine is in and she fired up! Now I am going to put an exhaust kit on her and some other things. Any suggestions guys out there?

I sorta miss mine. Engine ran like a top.

I just hated the radio integrated with the climate control and missed a manual transmission.

I would just keep an eye on the tranny and get on the throttle from a roll to try and preserve it. I got rid of mine around 2ook for trans issues. Rebuilds are spotty from what I've followed over the years so I just got out of it when it started to slip. Great daily driver cars.

Thanks Luigisho! I have heard the transmissions are slush boxes and there not the greatest.

I was really thinking about how much I sorta missed that old v8 and actually thought about maybe grabbing another one.
