any advantage to a 96+ rear brake swap? I am planning on the front but didnt know if there was anything that can be done to the rear as well. does a third gen SHO have same rear discs as a third gen SLO with rear discs?

Are you talking about the '96 front brake upgrade on the rear, or the '96 solid rears? If you are talking about the stock rears off a '96, I would not do that swap as you would be downgrading. Your '92 already had vented rear rotors that will be more than enough for a '96 rotor in the front. The '94+ rear rotors are solid.

If you are talking about the '96 front rotor (11.6") in the rear, I would not do that unless you get some beefy brakes in the front (to read: better than '96 front brakes).

OK, I already knew the 94-95 rears were solid, I didnt know about the 96+ thats why I was aksing, I didnt know if there was better than what I had but I'll be sticking with the 92 vented rotors and upgrade to the 96+ fronts. Thanks guys!
