Those pics are for visual reference. I'm not sure if any differences exist from SHO vs regular Taurus FPR parts. You would have to verify they are interchangeable.

I was looking at the points of potential failure. The one you pointed out looks like most that have internal diaphragm but also I was wondering if there is any way that the hole above the threaded area could get partially blocked to prevent consistent correct fuel flow? I haven't removed or replaced one so I am not familiar with the exact assembly orientation. It may not be an issue. Just looking at how maybe an install could possibly go awry.

Great news and good detective work! Hit up dan barbush --SV&HODan on the forum. He often has parts cars and odd stuff laying around he will sell. Great prices and ships quick.

You ever reattach that broken wire? If so, anything happen?

I'm just being curious here. is it possible the overtightening caused the regulator to bottom out and block fuel flow?

EDIT: pulled a regulator off today. the cavity is rounded at the bottom and is too deep. bottoming out is not going to happen.

I did attach the wire, and it did nothing. I was thinking that I screwed it up when I crushed the washer into the dampner that it blocked it from vacuum or some sort of air flow.
