93 atx 4K rev limiter gone

ok, just noticed today that all of a sudden the 4K rev limiter in neutral and park is gone. it will rev as far as you want it to ... the limiter was there not even a month ago. any idea why that would change??

Your car is tired of being driven so it figured the best way to retire to a JY is to blow his/her torque converter... Take the hint. Just ship it to my JY and i will take car of it for ya.

yes, i was. am i looking at replacing the manual shaft position sensor?? on the tranny around the selector shaft??

ya just go to Ford dealer they are around $60-$70 canadain so ??? in the States.

Junkyard would be a good place, IMHO. Or just don't rev it over 4k in P or N.

There's not much to fail in that device, though. There are no active components, just a wiper, some contacts, and a few resistors.
