I just changed the M.A.S. and the T.P.S. It seemed to fix the problem (the problem being that the rpms would jump +/- 500 without accelerating.) I assumed that fixed the problem as it cleared up rather quickly however, I did change the oil/filter a few days later. Now the engine is starting to sound bogged down again, like it has more power but something is holding it up.. also the engine in runs hotter than it did before the oil change which I found to be odd. My next step is to try fuel injector cleaner as the fuel lines were a slight issue and I've recently replaced the filter already. I did use 10w40 but only did because the engine has 160,000 on it and I was told it would be better. Was I misinformed maybe? If anyone has any idea as to what the problem might be or even a list of things to try it would be appreciated.
