Also, while in motion...keep your hand off the shifter and foot off the clutch pedal. Light nonchalant pressure on both leads to premature wear on parts.

In case it's not implied by SM105K, keep it in neutral foot of the clutch at the lights too.

Ok sounds good what I do is when I get to a light I shift to neutral and I don’t engine brake I just brake normally

Yes. Engine braking is ******* the clutch and trans. Brakes are literally designed to wear out to stop the vehicle. Most transmissions are designed to move the vehicle forward, not to help it stop.

Yeah stay up on your preventative maintenance, and keeping a vehicle clean will keep it looking and performing new.

My SHO is 6 years old, however if you parked it next to a brand new one at dealership I bet most people would think it is new too. It is only when you really start looking deeply into it that you would see it isn't.

Yay I’m not your normal teenager with cars I grew up in a shop and was taught how to do this kinda of stuff with my dad. I learned the respect of a vehicle from my dirt bike because we all know no matter the skill the second you think you know that bike you’ll eat it.

I learned on a 1984 Suzuki DR 100. I loved that bike. I had to learn all maintenance and how to fix it. I also learned how to use a clutch and gear shifter. So naturally when i stepped into a manual car...viola..I knew how to drove it.

Me too I think dirt bikes are good things it’s the user that can make that bike safe or dangerous
