89 EGR delete

The white 89 I recentely aquired is a california car with EGR. I will be putting the 3.2 from my 91 in it, and was wondering about deleting the EGR. I have a tweecer, but would i need an engine harness from a non-EGR 89? Or would the extra plug just dangle there, and the tweecer make the computer think it isn't even there? Any information/ideas welcome. Thanks!

Installing anew CPU will fix the problem or the Tweecer as it changes the car to an X2J and does not look for EGR.

Just remove the parts and block off.
