Here is the problem. If you get the air in, then you need to get it out.
A MAF by itself could make a improvement, but you would get more bang for your buck if you team that same MAF with a free flowing exhaust, starting with the y-pipe. And dont expect huge hp, you will have more hp, but more importantly your trying to improve the whole tq curve. If you jack a tq curve 3-4 pounds, thats a nice improvement.

well the thing is my stock MAF was going bad and a new stock one was like 180 bucks so i figured what the **** lets go bigger. And secondly I agree a free flowing exhaust would be a good addition to have. I had a y pipe on order from RCM before I ordered this actually and have a dynomax cat back currently.

So whether this really makes any difference in quarter mile times or not my car is actually running good for the first time in months and I only had to spend a few bucks more for it, so it was a worth while purchase IMHO
