70mm vs 80mm MAF

I am getting ready to buy a good handful of toys for my SHO and wondering if the Cobra 70mm is a cheaper/better alternative then the Mark VIII 80mm MAF? I am planning on getting an LPM through ShoSource and will have it tuned to the MAF as such.

If I do go with the 80mm, will the SHOnut adapter allow me to mate it to the stock airbox?

No it is not a good alterantive. With the LPM we only have the Curves for the 80mm. The 70mm would take custom work to get to work.
