Well Mr. funk it gets rather expensive. The parts alone are a few hundred. I see from your previous post that t-belt and h2o pump have already been done. That's half the battle. I'd get new plugs and wires and go for the big job at 120k.

ps- check out the shotimes faq (link at shoclub.com) and bookmark it, it's full of good info. wink

Clutch has nothing to do with the 60k, FYI.

Key items to think about:

Water Pump
Front Crank Seal
Crank Position Sensor
Cam Position Sensor
Timing Belt
Accessory Belts
Valve Shim Adjustment
Plug Well Seals / Cam Cover Gaskets
Thermostat
Temp Sender
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
Motorcraft Plugs
Motorcraft Plug Wires
Clean the intake & throttle body

Did I miss anything?

Here is a list that I have assembled for the parts addressed during the two, separate maintenance services. I say separate, because the two services have almost no parts removals in common and the front end work is on 60,000 mile intervals on the 3.0L and 100,000 mile intervals on the 3.2L. The upper engine work for both should be performed on 60,000 mile intervals. You can add up the parts prices for yourself and see that the majority of the costs associated with these services is in the labor.

I. Top End Engine Work
(Only 1 and 2 are required, others as needed)

1) Valve gap check/adjustment
2) Spark plugs, 6 required
...Motorcraft AGSP32PP, FordPartsNetwork.com (FPN) $3.99 ea.
3) Plug wires
...3.0L Motorcraft WR-4033, FPN $83.99 (will fit the 3.2L)
...3.2L Motorcraft WRE-4081, FPN $134.99

...Fel-Pro VS50378R, AutoZone.com $71.99
5) Intake manifold gasket (2 req)
...Motorcraft E9DZ-9439-A, FordPartsOnline.com $12.14+s&h
6) Thermostat (only if needed)
...Motorcraft RT-1112, FPN $19.99 or FordPartsOnline.com $17.77
7) Oxygen sensors, 2 required (recommend replacement with spark plugs)
...3.0L Bosch 13942, AutoZone $33.99 ea.
...3.2L Bosch 13223, AutoZone $40.99 ea.
